...The last thing I'd want to do is see this change into a forum-esque website. However... why isn't there a poll voting option? Always easier to clearly see what people think on a subject than save scrolling through entire reams of comments.

Also, and once again I wouldn't wish this place to become a profile site.... however, it would be nice to have an option to display location, interests, personal website links and such. Displayed nicely below the karma info. Even if people aren't interested what my favourite colour is i still wouldn't mind the option to tell them!
