I notice that some topics seem to evoke an emotional response from people that squashes the opinion of the dissenting poster. At times that is great, when for instance a person is writing something mean, off topic, trolling, etc.

Other times when a person posts that they don't believe that Steve Jobs is the most incredible CEO of all times those people also get voted out of view.

For me I sometimes would like to be able to see and sort by total upvotes regardless of downvotes. If 20 people agree but 30 people disagree I think the opinion is still valid.

tl;dr - I want to sort/view by upvotes regardless of downvotes
